Francophonie Atlanta Beltline Westside Bike Tour

Join the Francophone community for a fun bike tour of the Atlanta Beltline Westside Trail!

Discover the Atlanta BeltLine Westside Trail and learn about the past, present, and future of the Atlanta BeltLine project. Enjoy the trail’s charm and explore the surrounding historic neighborhoods alongside expert guides.

Join us in the parking lot of Lee + White (1020 White St SW. Atlanta, GA 30310) to begin our tour. Please arrive by 9:30AM. 

The 10-mile ride is mostly flat with a few moderate hills. Participants should be at least 13 years of age, have basic biking skills, and have a fitness level that would allow them to complete the tour as described.

Don’t own a bike? Bike and helmet rental are available from our bike rental partner, Clutch Bike Shop. For $35 Clutch will bring you a bike/helmet to our starting point and pick them up when the tour is over, please contact them directly here to arrange your rental.

Stay and enjoy a drink at Boxcar at Hop City West End after the tour. Belgian Consul General Michel Gerebtzoff, Swiss Consul General Urs Brönnimann, and the Francophonie community will be in attendance.

*The tour will be in English, so any and all are welcome to join. We encourage you to brush up on your Francophone sports culture as there will be some fun quizzes and possible prizes!

Price: Free to participate. $35 if you need to rent a bike/helmet directly through Clutch Bike Shop.
What to wear: Comfortable athletic wear, and anything that represents the French speaking culture, such as your favorite athlete's jersey, favorite comic book character, favorite movie character, we encourage your creativity! Waters will be provided but please feel free to bring your own reusable water bottle and snack/sandwich for the tour.

*Please note all participants will need to complete a liability waiver before the tour to be able to participate. Please contact atlanta@diplobel.fed.be with any questions about this event.
*There are a limited number of bikes so if you own a bike please bring it.
*In the event of rain, this event will be rescheduled.
