About Us

Francophonie Atlanta, a 501(c) 3 non-profit corporation, is a multi-cultural collaboration between the French-speaking countries with consulates in Atlanta and francophone organizations.  Its mission is to promote the French language by raising awareness of the richness and diversity of francophone cultures from around the world. Every year in March, Francophonie Atlanta organizes the Atlanta Francophonie Festival, featuring a variety of cultural and educational events.

Our mission is to promote the French language and francophone cultures by organizing the annual Francophonie Festival with the purposes of:

  • fostering cross-cultural exchanges between the francophone world and local communities;

  • presenting cultural events showcasing the richness and diversity of francophone cultures around the world;

  • organizing French language workshops for students;

  • training teachers of French and provide them with teaching tools.
