Join us for an exclusive screening of the TV5Monde documentary Alliance(s) Française(s) (in French with English subtitles), in celebration of the 140th anniversary of Alliances Françaises around the world!

Welcome to the Alliance Française! Think of it as a “French language and culture multinational,” with headquarters on Boulevard Raspail in Paris and 840 branches in 133 countries, including 106 in the U.S. Founded 140 years ago, the institution is the focus of a new documentary, Alliance(s) Française(s), available on TV5MONDEplus.

SYNOPSIS
From Paris to Puducherry, via Rio, Buenos Aires and Tsiroanomandidy, to meet some of the men and woman continuing to spread the influence of the French language and francophone culture across the world. With personal stories from Irina Bokova, Bernard Cerquiglini, Laurent Fabius, Julia Kristeva, Erik Orsenna, Sebastião Salgado…
