Apéro Dînatoire sous les étoiles
You’re warmly invited to join us for a relaxed and joyful Francophone picnic: an evening to unwind, connect, and celebrate together. Come meet fellow French speakers and francophiles, make new friends, and enjoy a beautiful evening under the stars.
What to bring:
Your favorite picnic essentials — sandwiches, cheese, snacks, your dinner, a blanket or chair, and your beverage of choice. Think simple, delicious, and shareable!
Who’s invited:
Everyone! Bring your family, invite your friends, and don’t forget your well-behaved furry companions.
Come for the language, stay for the laughter, and savor the moment together.
Drop-in anytime between 6:00p-8:30p.
We’ll be meeting at the Meadow at Piedmont Park, the Meadow is the green space inside the park at the corner of 10th and Monroe Drive, close to the Park Tavern restaurant. Look for the French flag!
Parking:
Paid lot at Park Tavern- 500 10th St NE
Free street parking along Cooledge Ave, Cresthill Ave, Elmwood Drive and Kanuga St - Be sure to read the parking signs before leaving your vehicle.
This picnic is hosted by Joelle Gracia of Meet Me in Paris
Joelle Gracia is the founder of Meet Me in Paris, and if there’s anything French happening in Atlanta, she probably knows about it (or created it). What started as a personal love story with France has turned into a full-on movement, bringing a little je ne sais quoi to everyday life in the South.
She curates boutique trips to Paris that go way beyond the typical tourist checklist: think hidden gems, unforgettable meals, and the kind of moments that make you feel like you actually live there. Here in Atlanta, she’s built a lively community of Francophiles through events, meetups, and cultural experiences that connect people over their shared love of all things French.
In short: Joelle doesn’t just take people to Paris, she brings Paris to the people.
